PolySyn sutures are formulated from an undyed, braided polyglycolic acid with a smooth, low friction coating which reduces drag and increases precision.
They are ideal for short term closure with 50% strength at 14 days and 20% strength at 21 days.
Precise, smooth penetration through tissue allowed by the extra sharp cutting edge of the needle minimises trauma.
The cutting edges also extend from the point to its widest portion in order to reduce tissue drag.
