Non-porous PTFE suture material.
Monofilament, soft and pliable.
Smoothly passes through tissues.
As plaque does not adhere to the PTFE, there is little tissue reaction and infection.
A black round body taper cut needle is attached to the thread giving good visibility when suturing and leaves a small non-tearing puncture mark.
Patients are more comfortable as there is no hard knot and the suture thread flexibility does not bite into the soft tissues.
This material should be removed in 7-12 days.
